What Paperwork Do I Need to Sell My Car in El Dorado, AR?

Selling your vehicle to us shouldn’t be any different. One of the big things we’ve seen make a difference in the selling process is when all of the paperwork is in order, otherwise, it could make the whole experience take a bit longer.
We want to save you as much time as possible, so make sure you have your title with you before heading down to our dealership. However, there are a few other items that might be helpful:
Title
Your vehicle’s title is the most important part of the process. If you have it with you, that's ideal! Put it with your keys and bring it along after you receive our trade-in offer for your model.
But I’m still making payments.
Just because you’re still in the middle of your loan doesn’t mean you can’t sell. Your vehicle's title will just be under your bank or lender’s name. Contact your lienholder to talk through the loan payoff amount.
But I’m still in my lease agreement.
No worries: We can still assist you. Simply contact your lender from the number listed on your lease statement and ask for the payoff amount. Next, pay off your lease and transfer the title from the lease holder to yourself. Now you're ready to legally sell your vehicle.
CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™
You may have already been proactive and brought the CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™. This document reveals all service records, title changes, number of owners, discrepancies in mileage and so on. However, since you are able to give us your model's VIN (vehicle identification number), we can also access this information online.
Warranty Documentation
An active warranty definitely increases your vehicle’s value. If the warranty happens to be transferable, bring the warranty documentation to show during the inspection. The contact information for the warranty provider — if it's not the manufacturer — would be helpful to have, but again, not necessary.
